Make something beautiful for the holidays. Join our professional florist for a lesson in floral design. You'll create a fragrant, rustic styled centerpiece of assorted evergreens, pinecones, cinnamon sticks, bows, topped off with a mason jar and candle. Materials and instruction are provided but the creative touches are all yours. Feel free to bring personal embellishments to accent it for your home. This class is appropriate for adults and children ages 10 and over accompanied by an adult

Come join us at the Wolff Planetarium as we experience the real holiday light show, the winter sky. Discover the mysteries of the Christmas Star, see a bright holiday “wreath” of twinkling lights, and hear the tale of the man being pulled across the sky… and his three baby goats! Programs are open to adults and children ages 5 and older accompanied by an adult.

Informal open house, come see one of the hidden gems of Cincinnati Parks. Meet the Naturalists at LaBoiteaux Woods Nature Center: learn about upcoming programs and camps here and at other Cincinnati Parks locations, meet our nature center animals, make a craft, and see the exhibit displays. Severe weather cancels this program.

Time slots start every 15 minutes at 10:00 am and the last time slot at 1:00 PM. The program lasts approximately 1 and a half hours. It’s Maple Sugarin’ Time at Caldwell Nature Preserve! Come join us as we tap our own trees in our sugar bush. Visitors will take a journey back in time discovering the magic of maple sugaring and taste this natural sugary delight!

Experience the oldest public planetarium west of the Allegheny Mountains. Discover stars, constellations, galaxies and more. Learn the stories behind the Big and Little Dippers, Orion and many other constellations in the nighttime sky. From nebulas and novae to star formation and more, this show has it all! Programs are open to adults and children ages 5 and older accompanied by an adult. Fee: $5.00 per person. Reservations required. Seating is limited.
