Mt. Washington Neighborhood Plan

Mt. Washington is updating their neighborhood plan! This plan will look broadly at the neighborhood's strengths and opportunities, and set a long-term vision for the community's physical, social, and economic development. It is important to us that we hear from as many people as possible throughout this process to create a collective vision for Mt. Washington's future!

Thank you to everyone who contributed your ideas and experiences during the preliminary engagement period of the neighborhood plan process! Preliminary engagement opportunities included...

  1. Online survey available on the Plan website from October 2025 to March 2026

  2. Kick-off Meeting at Mt. Washington School on February 21, 2026, from 2-4pm

  3. Printed surveys (based on online survey) and engagement packets (based on Kick-off materials) available at the Library and Rec Center

  4. Virtual Miro board, which provided the same information and input opportunities as the boards at the Kick-off Meeting

Phase 2 - Theme Working Groups:

The next step in the Plan process is for Theme Working Groups to write the goals and strategies based on community input, best practice research, and meetings with City staff and local organizations. If you are passionate about a specific topic and want to join a Theme Working Group, fill out the form below! Relevant Documents:

The last neighborhood-specific plan, the Mt. Washington Comprehensive Plan, was adopted in 2007 (Almost 20 years ago). Before that, the Neighborhood Business District Plan was adopted in 1996, and the Architectural Focus Study was adopted in 1979.
