As a new year dawns, OES is proud to share the “2025 GCP Progress Report” – a compilation of the good, hard work of so many in our city. In this report, the first of its kind produced by OES, you will find success stories, key achievements, numbers demonstrating concrete progress, images of real people doing cool stuff, and inspiring words from our leadership.  And, you will be challenged to consider what your role could be in the movement going forward. We hope you see your efforts and your values reflected in some way. 

Even though 2025 was a difficult year for the environmental movement, per Director Ollie Kroner, “I like what I have seen from our team, our partners, and our Cincinnati community. Unrattled, I see a steady focus on people-first solutions. I see resilience and adaptability to find a way forward. I see individual actions coming together into a collective story of determination and hope. I am deeply grateful for your commitment and inspired by the leadership emerging across our city”. Local action is prospering. We hope this report helps bring this positive reality to light.
