Question: What are the separation requirements between other utilities and water mains?

Answer: All water main/ branch installation must occur in accordance with GCWW standards. Please click here to download our construction specifications and standard drawings.

  • A separation of 18” vertically must be maintained between all water service branches and water mains from all other utilities, structures, etc..
  • A separation of 5’ horizontally must be maintained between all water service branches and water mains from all other utilities, structures, etc..

Question: How do I request permission to conduct a flow test?

Answer: Flow test needed for branch or water main extension purposes must be conducted by a private contractor and must be scheduled with the GCWW valve room in advance at 513-591-7909.

  • For bidding on Private development and Subdivision work, please contact the respective developer or engineer for the project you plan to bid.
