CINCINNATI – A section of Gest Street in Lower Price Hill is closed to traffic due to a water main break.

A water main break occurred on Gest Street on Friday, June 9. The break damaged a portion of the roadway, resulting in the closure of Gest Street between Depot Street and Summer Street. Greater Cincinnati Water Works crews are currently on site making repairs and anticipate having water service restored by 6 p.m. Friday, June 9.

Both lanes in both directions are closed on the affected portion of Gest. Permanent street restoration is anticipated to be completed by Monday afternoon and the road is expected to reopen by 7 p.m. Monday, June 12.
