Proposed Zone Change at 2846 May Street in Walnut Hills

 

Background & Proposal

Kingsley + Co is applying for a zone change at 2846 May Street in Walnut Hills. The current zoning designation is Manufacturing Limited – Transportation (ML-T) and the applicant is proposing a change to Residential Multi-family – 0.7 – Transportation (RM-0.7-T). Residential uses are not allowed on the site with the existing ML-T zoning district. This property is currently vacant, and this change would allow the applicant to develop two multi-family buildings on the site.

The buildings will be four and five stories tall with approximately 180 units and 130 parking spaces. The property is bounded by Interstate-71 to the west, construction uses to the north and east, and multi-family and storage uses to the south. Any variances would need to applied for after a zone change occurs.
