Stay Engaged with the Green Cincinnati Plan Process: CitizenLab Engagement Platform

The Office of Environment and Sustainability launches CitizenLab as a central place to stay informed and involved in planning and implementation of the Green Cincinnati Plan. Click here to get involved!
 
Introducing... CitizenLabthe Green Cincinnati Plan’s Home for Engagement! CitizenLab is an interactive platform wherein the progress of active collaborative projects related to the 2023 Green Cincinnati Plan (GCP) can be viewed by every Cincinnatian who chooses to do so. For selected projects, the platform’s tools will be activated to invite online engagement and feedback from community members. Those who choose to do so may participate in bringing these projects to fruition by using the platform’s tools to contribute an idea, comment on a proposal, vote on and prioritize projects, take a survey, and more. 
 
Some active Projects available for browsing include:
   2023 Green Cincinnati Plancontains the GCP Recommendation Form, information to help understand how the 2023 GCP is developed - such as 2023 Green Cincinnati Plan Engagement Process document - and what stage of the process we’re currently in.
   Engage in a 2023 GCP Subcommitteecontains further descriptions of GCP Focus Areas, community feedback, upcoming events, as well as resources to learn how to get involved.
   2023 GCP Community Climate Safe Seriescontains recommendations and community maps based on neighborhood-oriented meetings, those which have been determined by using results from Cincinnati's 2021 Climate Equity Indicators Report.

By enabling and supporting all residents of Cincinnati to utilize everything that is offered by CitizenLab, the Office of Environment & Sustainability is working to ensure that multiple avenues of community participation are available through the entirety of the 2023 GCP renewal process. Not only does CitizenLab provide a way for everyone to continue staying up to speed and equipped to participate in this process since in person meetings have ended, it also serves as another resource for learning information about the 2023 GCP and other programs and events that OES has a hand in bringing to life.

The launch of this platform is a pilot initiative of the Office of Environment and Sustainability for the purposes of the 2023 Green Cincinnati Plan.
