Traffic Alert: Cincinnati Welcomes Another Major Motion Picture
CINCINNATI – The City of Cincinnati welcomes the cast and crew of ‘Reprisal’ starring Bruce Willis as the latest major cinema production to chose to film in Cincinnati. Crews are scheduled to shoot scenes in the Central Business District, Yeatman’s Cove and The Banks near the riverfront, and to the north in Over-the-Rhine and at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.
Filming for 'Reprisal' includes a number of scenes with simulated gun fights, car chases, a crash and a robbery in busy areas of the city. Motorists should expect detours, slow traffic and load noise at times. Cincinnati police officers will be on site at each location to help detour motorists.
These locations and times are being closely coordinated between the City’s Police and Traffic and Engineering departments as well as Film Cincinnati to minimize traffic and noise impacts for the general public as much as possible.
The City and Film Cincinnati will provide regular, advance updates for commuters and the general public as filming takes place during the next three weeks.
Following is what to expect during the first week: Aug. 7 - Aug. 9:
- Yeatman’s Cove along Pete Rose Way: Periods of gun fire noise 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7.
- Rosa Parks Street at The Banks: Street closed south of Freedom Way 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8. Walnut Street will remain open. Motorists will be detoured via Marion Spencer Way (formerly Walnut).
- Roebling Bridge: Traffic restrictions and gun fire 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 9
