Traffic Alert: Annual Ridge Day Parade Set for Saturday in Pleasant Ridge

CINCINNATI – Several streets will close for a couple hours on Saturday while the Pleasant Ridge neighborhood hosts their annual Ridge Day Parade.

Below is a list of six streets that will close from roughly 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday. A marked detour will be in place throughout the neighborhood to help direct motorists around the event area.

• Montgomery Road - closed to through traffic between Grand Vista Avenue and Langdon Farm Road
• Ridge Avenue - closed to through traffic between Highland Avenue and Section Road
• Woodford Avenue- closed between Pandora Avenue and Montgomery Road
• Losantiville Avenue- closed between Montgomery Road and Schubert Avenue
• Lester Road- closed between Douglas Terrace and Montgomery Road

Motorists are reminded to use caution around the event site and to seek alternate routes if possible.

Ridge Day is an annual celebration in Pleasant Ridge featuring a parade, food, games and activities for children. In the evening, the event shifts to "Ridge Night" with entertainment including food from local vendors, live music and various adult beverages.
