Construction-Related Road Closures, Lane Restrictions This Week (Week of August 15)
Here's a list of road closures and lane restrictions in Downtown Cincinnati, Over-the-Rhine and The Banks during the week of Aug. 15. There's also a map at the bottom of the page that pinpoints specific areas.

Downtown
I-71 Bridge Deck Replacement over Eggleston Ave.: The Third Street exit ramp off I-171 south will be closed until summer 2017 for ODOT project to reconstruct the bridge decks just north of the Lytle Tunnel entrance.
- Detour is Gilbert to 8th to Sycamore to 3rd to I-71 south entrance. See below map for details.
The Banks
Second Street on-ramp to I-71 North: Closed until December 2016 for upgrades to Lytle Tunnel and I-71 bridge deck replacement.
- Detour is Main Street to Fifth Street to I-71 north ramp. See below map for details.
Mehring Way between Rose Street & Central Avenue: Lane restrictions and intermittent full closures for CSX maintenance until Aug. 25. Detours signs posted when closure in place.
Lytle Park Area
Lytle Street Between Pike Street & West Terminus: Closed for repairs to Lytle Tunnel. The east half of Lytle Park (above the tunnel) also is closed during the repairs and reconstruction. All lanes reopen by Sept. 15, 2016.
Central Business District
Holiday Inn & Garage: Curb lane and sidewalk around project site on Seventh, Eighth & Sycamore closed till December 2016 for construction.
Main Street just south of Sixth Street: West curb lane restricted and sidewalk closed indefinitely for construction at AT580.
Over-the-Rhine
Elm Street, Gandolfo to 12th: West curb lane and sidewalk closed during construction of Cincinnati Shakespeare Co. theater. Additional lane closed, as needed, for concrete pours and materials deliveries.
Sycamore & 14th Streets: Lane and sidewalk restrictions 24/7 through July 2017, for Ziegler Park improvements.
Elm Street in front of Memorial Hall: Sidewalk in front of building closed during renovation. Through access open.
