Construction-Related Road Closures, Lane Restrictions This Week (Week of July 18)
Here's a list of road closures and lane restrictions in Downtown Cincinnati, Over-the-Rhine and The Banks during the week of July 18. There's also a map at the bottom of the page that pinpoints specific areas.
Included are traffic details related to the Cincinnati Music Festival.

Cincinnati Music Festival - The Banks & Fountain Square
- Freedom Way closed continuously from Elm Street to Rosa Parks beginning at 10:00 a.m. July 21 - 7:00 p.m. July 24.
- Fifth Street closed between Vine and Walnut on July 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Banks
Intersection of Central Avenue and Mehring Way south of Paul Brown Stadium: Lane closures at the intersection till July 27. Crews replacing crosswalk and sidewalk pavers with decorative concrete. Through traffic allowed.
Mehring Way between Rose Street & Central Avenue: Closed for CSX maintenance until 4 p.m. July 20. Lane restrictions only in place again beginning July 25.
Second Street on-ramp to I-71 North: Closed till Sept. 12 for upgrades to Lytle Tunnel.
- Detour is Main Street to Fifth Street to I-71 north ramp. See above map for details.
Lytle Park Area
Lytle Street Between Pike Street & West Terminus: Closed for repairs to Lytle Tunnel. The east half of Lytle Park (above the tunnel) also is closed during the repairs and reconstruction. All lanes reopen by Sept. 15, 2016.
Central Business District
Holiday Inn & Garage: Curb lane and sidewalk around project site on Seventh, Eighth & Sycamore closed through summer 2016 for construction.
Main Street just south of Sixth Street: West curb lane restricted and sidewalk closed for construction at AT580. Reopens summer 2016.
Over-the-Rhine
Elm Street, Gandolfo to 12th: West curb lane and sidewalk closed during construction of Cincinnati Shakespeare Co. theater. Additional lane closed, as needed, for concrete pours and materials deliveries.
Sycamore & 14th Streets: Lane and sidewalk restrictions 24/7 through July 2017, for Ziegler Park improvements.
Elm Street in front of Memorial Hall: Sidewalk in front of building closed during renovation. Through access open.
Charlotte Street Between Short Alley & Elm Street: Closed for renovations to YMCA. Signage directs motorists.
