National Night Out 2021

CINCINNATI - National Night Out takes place annually on the first Tuesday in August. This year, the Cincinnati Police Department moved its local events to the month of October. On Tuesday, October 5, 2021, neighborhoods across Cincinnati got together for cookouts, social gatherings, games, and other fun events to celebrate and strengthen their communities.

The Cincinnati Police Department partnered with community groups in each District to highlight crime prevention, discuss public safety initiatives and foster positive police-community relations.  Each District had exhibits, displays and demonstrations with specialized police units and equipment.

The first National Night Out was observed in 1984. It has now become our nation’s largest annual crime and drug prevention event. National Night Out strengthens the relationship between the community and law enforcement while bringing about a sense of community.
