GCWW 2020 Water Quality Report Now Available

(CINCINNATI, OH) – Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) recently published its annual Water Quality Report (aka Consumer Confidence Report). Water testing data and analysis results shared in the report show that GCWW drinking water is within all regulations and continues to meet or exceed compliance with all federal and state drinking water standards.

The report provides data to water utility customers regarding compliance with U.S. EPA and Ohio EPA drinking water standards and general drinking water quality.

“The report is the culmination of treatment and monitoring processes for the last calendar year,” said Cathy Bailey, Executive Director of GCWW. “We are proud to share this information and the fact that GCWW continues to provide high-quality drinking water to more than 1.1 million people in our service area.”

The report also provides information pertaining to the water treatment process, local drinking water sources, and source water protection.

More than 100 regulated substances require monitoring or specific treatment, including various chemicals, microbiological agents, metals, and minerals. GCWW uses the most advanced treatment technologies in the world to provide  customers with clean, high-quality water.
