Cincinnati’s streetcar operates 365 days a year through Downtown, Over-the-Rhine, and the Banks—three of the city’s busiest neighborhoods for work, tourism, events, dining, and everyday life.
With 5 electric-powered trains running on a 3.6-mile loop and 1.2 million riders a year, the Connector offers high visibility across 18 station stops and a wide range of riders—commuters, residents, visitors, and eventgoers alike.

Where can I advertise on the streetcar system?
The program offers several advertising formats, including portions of the exterior train, interior train cards, and station/shelter panels throughout the route.

How much does it cost to advertise?
Pricing varies by location and format. Discounts are available for contracts longer than 3 months. Reach out to us at cincinnatistreetcaradvertising@cincinnati-oh.gov to discuss pricing and potential package options.
Who handles the production and installation of advertisements?
Advertisers are responsible for creative design, production, and installation costs.
Advertisers and/or any subcontractors must ensure proper installation without damaging City property.
Advertisers will work with the streetcar team to coordinate installation and removal. The team is available to meet and discuss design in-person, as/if necessary.
Advertisers can change creative within the contract period.
What happens if my ad is damaged or vandalized?

Are there content restrictions for streetcar ads?
Yes. The City maintains a viewpoint-neutral advertising policy to ensure all ads are appropriate for a public transit environment. View the full Advertising Policy.
Prohibited content includes:

Advertising for tobacco, cannabis, firearms, adult content, or other restricted services

How is ad content approved?
All ads are approved by the Deputy Director of Streetcar Services, or designee, prior to installation. Ads must be submitted at least 30 business days before the desired installation date.
Design review to installation should take about 2 weeks, assuring design meets policy.
Can I reserve a specific stop or shelter?
Yes, ad space is available at all 18 stations. Certain stations have more opportunities for advertising space than others and this is reflected in pricing. Space is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Can I host a private event or activation on the streetcar?
Yes! The streetcar is available for private charters—ideal for weddings, celebrations, corporate events, filming, etc. Reach out to us at cincinnatistreetcaradvertising@cincinnati-oh.gov if you’re interested in chartering a train. Additional information on private charters can also be found here.

About The Streetcar
The Connector is an electric-powered streetcar that operates along a 3.6-mile loop connecting Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine and Banks neighborhoods via the Central Business District. It is free to ride.
The streetcar operates 365 days a year per the following core schedule with extended service hours for select events:
Monday through Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.
Sunday: 9:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
