Proposed Sale of Right-of-Way along Corry Street and Gerard Street in Corryville
Background
Peoples Church intends to redevelop its current site at 220 William Howard Taft Road through the creation of a new mixed-use complex. This land sale allows the project to be constructed on one contiguous piece of land while continuing to maintain right-of-way access for Gerard Street. The proposed development features a three-level underground parking facility and a new Primary Church Structure. As part of this redevelopment, Peoples Church intends to consolidate individual parcels within the site plan. This will require the city to sell city-owned land at Gerard and East Corry Streets and release an easement at 2580 Eden Ave. In return, Peoples Church will dedicate 2607 Bellevue Avenue as the Corry Street right-of-way. This land swap allows the project to be constructed on one contiguous piece of land while continuing to maintain right-of-way access for Gerard Street.
