Road Closures Set for UC Homecoming Parade on Saturday

UC Homecoming Parade to Close Several Local Streets

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati Homecoming game is this weekend, Saturday, November 9, at Nippert Stadium against the UConn Huskies at 3:30 p.m. As part of the festivities the annual Homecoming Parade will take place on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. on the streets surrounding the UC campus. This year UC will be celebrating their Bicentennial! In order to accommodate the parade, the following roads will close Saturday, November 9 at 11:00 a.m. (streets should be reopened by 12:30 p.m.):

  • Calhoun Street - closed between Vine Street and Clifton Avenue (closes at 10:30 a.m.)
  • Clifton Avenue - closed between McMillan Street and Dixmyth Avenue
  • Martin Luther King Drive - closed between Dixmyth Avenue and Jefferson Avenue

Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible and to reduce their speed and use caution when approaching the closure area.
