The Ice Cream 5K will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022.  The Ice Cream 5K is dedicated to supporting charities throughout the country, especially children’s healthcare facilities.  In order to accommodate this event, the following streets will close on Saturday, July 2 at 8:30AM and remain closed until approximately 11:00AM:

 

• Mehring Way- closed between W Pete Rose Way and E Pete Rose Way

(Mehring Way, between E Pete Rose Way and Johnny Bench Way, will close at 7:00AM for Start Line staging)

W Pete Rose Way- eastbound closed between Gest Street and Central Avenue

• Central Avenue- closed between W Pete Rose Way and Mehring Way
• Elm Street- closed south of Freedom Way
• Joe Nuxhall Way- closed south of Freedom Way
• Johnny Bench Way- closed

Motorists are reminded to use caution around the event site and to seek alternate routes if possible.
