Black Lives Matter Mural To Be Refreshed

Jun 14, 2022

The City of Cincinnati has partnered with Black Art Speaks to refresh the Black Lives Matter (BLM) mural in front of City Hall on Plum Street.  The mural refresh process is open to the public and will feature music by DJ Monet and a performance by Cleocrt.  Young artists with Black Art Speaks will refresh the outline of each letter in the BLM mural on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.  A protective overlay will be applied to the mural on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Traffic on Plum Street will be blocked between 8th Street and 9th Street beginning at 7:00am on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, through 5:00am on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, so the BLM mural may be viewed by the public.
