Accessible Parking
Parking in an urban environment can feel complicated for anyone but can be particularly challenging for drivers who face additional barriers. At the City of Cincinnati, we recognize that everyone has unique needs, abilities, and challenges, and are dedicated to providing you with the necessary information about accessible parking to help you find what you need.
Accessible and ADA-compliant parking spots are available throughout Cincinnati. You can find them in public parking garages, on-street parking spaces, and private establishments such as shopping centers and restaurants. These spots usually feature the international symbol of access, either painted on the ground or indicated by posted signs. Many major events and venues in Cincinnati also offer accessible parking options for attendees with disabilities. To use one of these spots, a driver must display a valid disability parking permit (license plates or placard hangtags) visibly through the front window of the vehicle.
