Streets to Close Friday So Runners Can 'Run Like Hell' on Friday

CINCINNATI – The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will hold their annual Run Like Hell 5K on Friday, Oct. 27.  In order to accommodate this event, the following streets will close at 7 p.m. on race day:

• Woodburn Avenue - closed between Dana Avenue and Potter Avenue (closes at 6 p.m.)
• Dana Avenue - eastbound closed between Victory Parkway and Idlewild Avenue
• Victory Parkway - northbound closed between Durrell Avenue and Dana Avenue
• Victory Parkway - southbound closed between Gilbert Avenue and Lincoln Avenue
• Gilbert Avenue/Montgomery Road - closed between Woodburn Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive

A marked detour will be in place directing motorists around the closure.  Streets will reopen soon after runners pass through. All streets will reopen by 10 p.m.

Parking will be restricted on Durrell Avenue. Local and emergency traffic will be maintained.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution when approaching the event site and are reminded to use alternate routes around the area if possible.
