Police Non-Emergencies
Many non-emergency issues handled by the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) can be reported through the 311 system. For issues related to parked vehicles, see the Parking Violations category.
Is a crime happening now?
- Emergency: Call 911
- Non-Emergency: Call 311 or 513-765-1212.
Do you need to file a police report?
There are three options:
- Go to District Station: Visit any CPD district station, 24/7, to file a report with a police officer at the front desk.
- Online Crime Reporting: The Cincinnati Police Department offers an Online Crime Reporting system for some types of incidents. This can be a convenient way to file a police report without leaving home.
- Request Dispatch of Officer: Call the Emergency Communications Center at 311 or 513-765-1212 to explain what has occurred. The call-taker can help assess whether CPD can be dispatched to your location.
