Gas Main Replacement/Relocation Work In Central Business District
Utility relocation is currently underway in the Central Business District for the Cincinnati Streetcar project.
Beginning Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, Duke Energy's contractor will be doing essential gas main replacement and relocation work at the following locations:
- Walnut Street and 3rd Street
- Main Street and 4th Street
Gas main replacement and relocation work is expected to progress north from these locations along Walnut and Main to Central Parkway.
Traffic and access to adjacent businesses will be maintained, although intermittent short-term closures may be possible.
Vehicles and bicyclists should slow down and use caution when approaching the work area.
