Central Parkway at Main Closure this Weekend as Trackwork Moves South on Main Street

Central Parkway will be closed at Main Street this weekend starting at 9:00AM on Friday April 24 until 7:00am on Monday, April 27 to enable trackwork across Central Parkway on Main.  Detours will be posted.     

Crews to Pull Race Street Overhead Wire this Week

The second major stretch of overhead contact system (OCS) wire to be installed on the Cincinnati Streetcar system is scheduled to be pulled this week on Wednesday April 22 along Race Street between Henry and 12^th Streets.  Crews will be working overnight along Race to install the overhead wire from which the streetcar will draw electric power.

• 5^th to 7^th: storm sewer work (2 weeks remaining)
• 7^th to 8^th:  traffic control conduit work (1 week remaining)
• 9^th to Court:  pavement removal (1 week remaining)
• 8^th to 9^th:  potholing and pavement restoration (1 week remaining)
• Court to 12th:  track concrete base work (2 weeks remaining); pavement removal, OCS foundations, traffic control conduit work,  rail installation (1 week remaining)
• At 12^th:  pavement removal (1 week remaining)

 

 WALNUT STREET:

• 3^rd to 4th: track concrete base work, rail installation (3 weeks remaining); pavement removal, restorations at water line work (2 weeks remaining); sidewalk and ramp replacement (1 week remaining)
• 4^th to 5^th:  restorations at water line work, track concrete base work (2 weeks remaining), rail installation (1 week remaining)
