Face Masks Required for all Riders

Feb 04, 2021

Per federal law, TSA requires proper wearing of face masks. Face masks are to be worn at all times. Failure to comply will result in denial of boarding or removal, and may result in penalties.

The CDC recently issued an Order requiring the wearing of masks by travelers to prevent spread of the virus that causes COVID-19. This requires all persons (passengers and employees) to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth when traveling on a streetcar. There are exemptions for children under the age of 2, persons with a disability who cannot wear a mask because of the disability, and persons for whom wearing a mask would create a risk to workplace health, safety, or job duty.
