What’s the New Concept with DEI?
One of the major concepts DEI has also embraced is the Mayor Canley’s Economic Inclusion Advisory Councils (EIAC) committee recommendation for Fast Track and it is just that.
This concept is adopted and modified by DEI to assist companies with:
- developing relationships with City Directors and their buying staff,
- opening doors to developers who potentially will work on City contracts
- staging opportunities with the Metropolitan Sewer District prime contractors
- and now marketing these firms through DEI’s cable talk show “Gateway to Economic Inclusion”
This new direction is now administered by DEI to help businesses get their” toe in the door." DEI has restructured the process to include all potential contracting opportunities with City contracting. From invitations to Bid, Request for Proposals, Inquiries or Qualifications to establishing partnership with developers or just direct bidding are all included with DEI’s new concept to help small businesses.
