Director Collin Mays of the Department of Economic Inclusion presented Brewster Pumping with the April 2023 Business Enterprise of the Month certificate today.
Brewster Pumping, LLC is a Cincinnati-based, MWBE concrete pumping firm, providing services to construction managers, general contractors, developers, owners, and subcontractors across the greater Tristate area. Using ACPA-certified professionals, Brewster is committed to project success and unrivaled client satisfaction by consistently delivering a quality product safely, and on time using the best practices in the construction industry.
Liza Smitherman founded Brewster Pumping, LLC in 2005 to further the vertical integration of Jostin Construction, the firm she started with her husband, Albert. As a concrete specialty contractor, Jostin needed to subcontract with outside concrete pumping firms to support project needs. After several years of outside rental utilization, the decision was made to form Brewster Pumping. Staying true to her family’s business-naming strategy of “family first branding,” Brewster is Liza’s mother’s maiden name.
In receiving the award, Liza Smitherman was extremely appreciative of the recognition, and her son, Joshua, was excited to show off the company’s newest pumping trucks, which will enable the company to handle projects of all sizes throughout the Cincinnati area as the company continues its meteoric growth.
Congratulations again to Brewster Pumping for all your success and excellence.
