Safe Streets for All Cincinnati
The Cincinnati Department of Transportation & Engineering (DOTE) has developed a comprehensive strategic plan to guide future roadway and pedestrian safety projects.
DOTE received a "Safe Streets and Roads for All" federal grant to pay for the plan, known as a Transportation Safety Action Plan (TSAP). The TSAP will provide the city with a systemic and data-centric way to prioritize future safety improvements and justify investment decisions.
During 2024 and 2025, the city and our consultant analyzed current and historic crash data involving vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles in every neighborhood and sought public input to help assess and reflect community needs.
