White Street Closed in South Fairmount

CINCINNATI – White Street between Queen City and Fairmount avenues in South Fairmount will close for three weeks beginning Monday, Aug. 8. The closure is needed to relocate a water main as part of an ongoing construction project.

The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD) is installing storm sewers along White Street and adjacent areas through spring 2017 as part of the Lick Run Project.

White Street will be closed to through traffic. Local traffic will be maintained, but access may be delayed at times. Depending on where the construction is occurring along the street, access to residences could be easier from either Queen City or Fairmount.

Additional closures of White Street, as well as a weekend closure of Queen City Avenue in the vicinity of White Street, will occur in the near future.
