Walk Ahead for a Brain Tumor Cure Street Closures

CINCINNATI, OH – The University of Cincinnati Brain Tumor Center, a regional destination, provides innovative and compassionate care for patients with brain tumors while striving to find cures and discover why these tumors occur. Funds from our past events have helped achieve new benchmarks in brain tumor research.  Each year, this event helps support at least two pilot research grants for UC researchers who are determined to find a brain tumor cure.  This year, the Walk Ahead for a Brain Tumor Cure will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023.  In order to accommodate this event, the following streets will close on Sunday, October 15 at 830AM and remain closed until approximately 1100AM:

 

Mehring Way- closed between Joe Nuxhall Way and E Pete Rose Way

Ramp LL- closed

Johnny Bench Way- northbound closed

Broadway- southbound closed south of Third Street

Taylor Southgate Bridge- closed

E Pete Rose Way- eastbound closed between Johnny Bench Way and Eggleston Avenue

Riverside Drive- eastbound closed between Eggleston Avenue and Bains Street 

         

Motorists are reminded to use caution around the event site and to use alternate routes is possible.
