CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati will be holding their Bearcat Dash & Bash on Sunday, October 6, 2019. The events include a 5K, which winds through UC’s Uptown campus, and an 18.19K, which celebrates the year of UC’s founding. In order to accommodate this event, the following streets will close on Sunday, October 6 at 8 a.m., and remain closed until approximately 12 p.m.:

• Clifton Avenue - northbound closed between McMillan Street and Spring Grove Avenue
• Spring Grove Avenue - eastbound reduced to a single lane between Winton Road and Clifton Avenue
• Old Ludlow Avenue - closed
• Ludlow Avenue - southbound reduced to a single lane between Hamilton Avenue and Central Parkway
• Ravine Street - closed between Central Parkway and McMicken Avenue
• Ravine Street - northbound closed between McMicken Avenue and McMillan Avenue
• McMicken Avenue - westbound closed between Ravine Street and McMillan Avenue
• McMillan Avenue - northbound closed between McMicken Avenue and Fairview Park
• McMillan Avenue - eastbound closed between Ravine Street and W Clifton Avenue

Drivers are reminded to use caution when approaching the event area, use alternate routes if possible and follow the directions provided by the Cincinnati Police officers on site.

Metro bus service that normally uses this area will be detoured around the closure.  Riders should follow the instructions posted at their stop.
