CINCINNATI -- Tree removal requires various short-term full closures on south Interstate 71 just south of I-275, and on the ramp from I-275 to south I-71, beginning immediately.

The Ohio Department of Transportation reports traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers during tree removal and clean up.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be used to alert motorists of the upcoming tree removal and lane restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
