Joe Nuxhall Way Reduced to Two Lanes Tomorrow for Concrete Pour

Concrete pours continue at construction site of new AC Marriott Hotel at The Banks

CINCINNATI  –  Joe Nuxhall Way will be reduced to two lanes of through traffic between Mehring Way and East Freedom Way from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 7, so crews may complete a concrete pour for the AC Marriott Hotel under construction at The Banks. The west sidewalk also will be closed.

Traffic will be shifted to the east side of Joe Nuxhall Way (Main Street), with one lane for each direction allowed. Cones will be set up around the site and flaggers will help direct motorists and pedestrians.

The work is weather-dependent. Pours also are scheduled for Jan. 25 and Feb. 2.

Additional pours will take place, as needed, while the seven-story hotel is under construction. Construction is scheduled to wrap up in spring 2017.
