CINCINNATI -- As part of the Interstate 75/I-74 major reconstruction project, the following restrictions will be in effect through the weekend.

Friday, July 31:

• Single-lane closures on I-74 East between Montana Avenue and I-75 South and on I-74 West between I-75 and Colerain Avenue from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday, August 1.
• Single-lane closure on I-75 South between Mitchell and Hopple streets from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday.
• Double-lane closure on I-75 South between Mitchell and Hopple streets from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday.

Saturday, August 1

• Single-lane closure on I-75 South between Mitchell and I-74 from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday, August 2. 
• Double-lane closure on I-75 South between Mitchell and I-74 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday.

Sunday, August 2:

• Single-lane closure on I-75 South between Mitchell and I-74 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, August 3. 
• Double-lane closure on I-75 South between Mitchell and I-74 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday.

Intermittent, short-term full closures may be in effect in the work zones on I-74 and I-75 daily between midnight and 5 a.m., and all work will be contingent upon the weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
