CINCINNATI - The Department of Transportation and Engineering will be performing routine inspections on railroad bridges spanning Gest Street. In order to accommodate this project, Gest Street will be closed between Dalton Avenue and State Avenue on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  Access from the west (State Avenue) will be maintained to the CPD Police Academy entrance. Access from the east (Dalton Avenue) will be maintained to Forge Lumber at 1528 Gest Street. There will be a marked detour directing motorists around the project site. Motorists not destined for the area are reminded to use alternate routes if possible.
