CINCINNATI, OH – The annual Freestore Foodbank Hunger Walk will be held this year on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025.  All registration fees and donations benefit the many soup kitchens, pantries, shelters, community groups and social service organizations working with the Freestore Foodbank to serve our neighbors in need.  To accommodate this event, the following streets will close at 8:30 AM on Monday, May 26, and remain closed until approximately 11:30 AM:

• Mehring Way- closed between Freeman Avenue and E Pete Rose Way (Mehring from Elm to Joe Nuxhall Way closes at 7AM for START/ FINISH Line construction)
• Gest Street- closed south of Third Street
• W Pete Rose Way- closed between Gest Street and Central Avenue
• Central Avenue- closed between Third Street and Mehring Way
• Elm Street- closed south of Freedom Way
• Joe Nuxhall Way- closed south of Second Street
• Ramp LL- closed
• E Pete Rose Way- closed between Broadway and Johnny Bench Way
• Johnny Bench Way- closed

Motorists are reminded to use caution around the event site and to seek alternate routes if available.
