CINCINNATI - The Aruna Run will be held on Labor Day Monday, September 6, 2021 at 7:30am. The Aruna Run is a race that raises awareness and money for those who are being trafficked in different parts of Asia. Human trafficking is a problem across the world and this event aims to help raise awareness and inform people about how widespread it has become and how badly victims are affected by it. In order to accommodate this event, the following streets will close at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, September 6, 2021, and remain closed until approximately 11:30 a.m.:
- Mehring Way - closed between Elm Street and E Pete Rose Way
- Joe Nuxhall Way - closed south of Second Street
- Johnny Bench Way - closed
- Broadway - closed south of Third Street
- E Pete Rose Way - eastbound closed between Johnny Bench Way and Eggleston Avenue
- Riverside Drive - eastbound closed between Eggleston Avenue and Hazen Street
- Bains Avenue - closed
