City Accepting Leveraged Support Applications

Today, the City of Cincinnati opened its leveraged support application period. These funds provide financial support to specific programs or organizations that perform a service benefiting Cincinnati residents.
“This money directly impacts our communities and results in positive outcomes. It is our intention that these funds be used to leverage further support from community members and donors to further the success of these partnerships,” said City Manager Sheryl Long.
Applicants must be an existing organization that has a minimum three years of audited financial statements or federal tax returns and must not be debarred from contracting or subcontracting with the City. Applicants may request $50,000-$500,000 in funding for services that directly benefit City residents under the categories of:
- Arts
- Economic Development and Neighborhood Support
- Human Services and Violence Prevention
- Specific interest in programs and organizations that are serving City youth who are “dual” involved with a dependency case through the Hamilton County Department of Job & Family Services and with a delinquency case with the Hamilton County Juvenile Court.
- Specific interest in programs and organizations that provide gender affirming mental health care to youth and adult residents in the City of Cincinnati.
- Specific interest in programs and organizations working to eliminate food insecurity in the City of Cincinnati.
- Equity and Inclusion
- Homelessness and Eviction Prevention
- Workforce Programming and Poverty Reduction
- Environment
