To commemorate and celebrate the legacy of the Theodore M. Berry International Friendship Park, we will be hosting the 4th annual “International Friendship Day”. The free event will take place in the outdoor areas around the Pavilion, which showcases original ceramic art tile created specifically for the park.

The day will be filled with a non-stop mix of international entertainment, starting with Asian Lion Dancers to open the event. From there you’ll be entertained by the Cincinnati-Dayton Japanese Taiko Drums, “Baja” Hispanic Dancers, Ukrainian Dancers, the German “Polka Warriors”, Salsa Dancing, and festive Caribbean Steel Drums, to name a few!Visit colorful and interactive multi-cultural booths from Cincinnati’s Sister Cities in China, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, Ukraine, and Zimbabwe. We’ll also be joined by the Dayton Sister Cities as well as friends from Bulgaria, Bhutan/Nepal, and Italy.

The Pavillion will have international student art displayed including students from Ukraine. This year’s fun will include several Cincinnati community partners. Meet FC Cincinnati’s “Street Team” and mascot, Gary, the Knifey lion. Visit the CAM Cruiser, for a look at the world of art, and our friends from the Cincinnati Public Library, and CET Public Television, will also be there to keep you informed and entertained.

“Kungfusion” joins us as this year’s savory food truck, and will be joined by another, complimentary (drinks/desserts) food truck. Our Pavilion will be open and set up for your convenience. Come in and enjoy your lunch while viewing international student artwork. You’ll have the chance to take home Japanese Baked goods from “Chiz’s Bakery”
