We will again be hosting our "free and open to the public" annual "International Friendship Day” on Saturday, September 28th ,2024, from 11am-2pm, around the Park’s Pavilion area. The day will be filled with cultural information from a multitude of different countries, ranging from China, to France, Germany, Japan, Zimbabwe, and more. We will also feature non-stop international entertainment, such as Japanese Taiko Drums and Caribbean Steel Drums. Food ranging from sweet to savory will also be available for purchase. All inspired by the mission of Sister Cities and International Friendship Park, to serve as a lasting tribute to world unity and global understanding. Our goal is to expand this event each year to include more countries from around the world.  With the help of the International Friendship Park Advisory Council, we also want to show how this legacy is continuing into the future with new international events, gardens, and original artwork in the Park.
