What to do when there is an accident:
If you are hurt in a traffic crash, do not ride away or shake off what seems like a minor injury — you might find later that it is worse than you thought.
- Call 911, so a police officer can make a report.
If needed, get medical help immediately.
If injured, do not move until an EMT has had a chance to examine you. Ask the driver or a witness to call 911. Stay calm so you can ask questions and take notes. - Acquire this information from the Driver:
