Incident Description: 

Call received from homeowner stating they awokened to the smell of smoke and crackling sounds. First
arriving company found heavy smoke coming from a 1A Cape Cod style home and started a full 1
alarm compliment. The fire was located in the basement of the home and extinguished by fire crews
with a handline. Moderate fire damage to the basement and smoke damage throughout the house. Two
adults are displaced with no injuries. Cause under investigation.
