Incident Description: 

The Cincinnati Fire Dispatch received a call for a community playground area that was set on fire. 
While E38 was on scene at the playground, it was found that smoke was coming from a 2-story 
townhome next to the playground area. E38 advanced a hoseline into the townhome and extinguished 
the fire while other units conducted a rapid search of the townhome to ensure no victims were inside. 
All floors were found to be clear. The fire was confined to the initial townhome and there was no 
extension into any of the adjoining units. There were no injuries to any civilians or firefighters. No 
working smoke detectors were found in the unit. 1 adult female will be displaced and the Cincinnati Red 
Cross was notified for assistance. The Cincinnati Fire Investigation Unit is on scene conducting their 
investigation as to the cause. Any further questions can be forwarded to the Cincinnati Fire
