Project Description:
This contract includes construction of a bicycle-pedestrian shared use path; installing new inlets; construction of a segmental wall; relocation of light poles and relocation of an irrigation control box.It also includes parking space removals and additions to an existing parking lot; landscaping including installation of tree lawns and plantings in a traffic island and roadway work including realigned curb returns, new curbs, new curb ramps, new drives, new pavement markings, new traffic control poles and devices, and traffic control signage.

2. Hillside Avenue at Tyler Street Landslide Stabilization

Project Description:
This project includes landslide stabilization west of Tyler Street and involves 61 reinforced drilled piers with 59 plugs.

3. Marburg Avenue Bridge

Project Description:
This project replaces the Marburg Avenue bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad. The existing bridge will be removed and replaced. The 86-year-old bridge connects
densely populated residential and commercial areas in Hyde Park and Oakley.

4. West MLK Improvements

Project Description:
This project consists of 0.83 miles of roadway improvements to West Martin
Luther King Jr. Drive from east of West McMicken Avenue to east of Clifton
Avenue, full depth pavement replacement (shift to north and widen), signal
upgrades and a 12’ multi-use path.

5. Northside Arterial Improvements
Engineer/Inspector: Lisa Rowell/David Padur
Contractor: Prus Construction
Project Description:
The project involves restructuring Colerain Avenue, Blue Rock and Elmore. Elmore
between Doley-By Pass and Colerain will become a two way traffic street when
complete. The listed streets will receive new curbs and sidewalks with a grass strip
between the curb and walks. All intersections within the project will receive new signal
configurations. The project also includes new asphalt pavement after concrete work is complete.

6. Ida Street Bridge Phase II

Project Description:
The project involves demolition of dilapidated concrete on the substructure on the bridge. The deteriorated areas will be removed and replaced creating a more substantial life expectancy for the bridge. After the area receives repairs, the entire
bridge will be coated.

7. Colerain Avenue (SCIP)

Project Description:
This project involves street rehabilitation on city streets. Including full depth repairs, curb and curb ramps, asphalt surfacing and driveway aprons. A retaining wall will also be installed on the project.
