Meet the Manager
Jaime Edrosa serves as Division Manager of Cincinnati’s municipal airport, Lunken Field. He has 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, most recently with the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport where he was Manager of Telecommunications. In that role, he was responsible for supervisory, command, and technical work in coordinating and executing the activities of the 24-hour Airport Operations Center, which includes 911 communications.
Edrosa’s aviation experience includes the areas of airside, landside, security, terminal operations, emergency communications, response and management, airport safety, quality assurance, airport project management, and learning and development.
Edrosa also taught English as a Second Language for five years and worked for a nonprofit focused on charter schools.
Throughout Edrosa’s aviation career, he has specialized in airport management and emergency readiness and training. His passion for education led him to share his knowledge with other airport management professionals by presenting and instructing at FAA regional conferences and aviation courses such as Basic Airport Safety and Operations.
Edrosa also has served on numerous boards, commissions and committees including the Northern Nevada Regional Transportation Commission Citizen’s Advisory Committee, the City of Reno Recreation and Parks Commission, the Mater Academy of Northern Nevada Board of Directors, and Tu Casa Latina Board of Directors. He was a panelist for Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) Report 229 – Airport Collaborative Decision Making (ACDM) to Manage Adverse Conditions and was a contributor to ACRP Synthesis 73 - Emergency Communications Planning for Airports.
He is a current member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). He has a bachelor’s degree with double majors in Aviation Management and Spanish and a minor in Flight Operations from the University of Dubuque (Iowa). He is an FAA-licensed private pilot with an instrument rating and is fluent in Spanish.
