Sunrise / Sunset is a public event occurring in Cincinnati Park’s Mt. Echo and Mt. Storm on September 20, 2025. This event is divided into two celebrations occurring on the same day. The Sunrise portion occurs in the morning hours of Mt. Echo Park, where attendees will watch the sun rise over the city accompanied by light ambient / acoustic musicians and a guided yoga session. The Sunset portion is later that same day in Mt. Storm Park, with attendees watching the western setting sun while dancing to the sounds of soul and motown DJs. Joined together, these two parks offer the best public view of both the sunrise and sunset in Cincinnati. The pavilions of both parks, the center of these celebrations, face the sun highlighting the civic beauty of these curated landscapes. The purpose of this event is to compliment and embrace this beauty with music and community building. Historically, three sunrise events and two sunset event have been hosted in Mt. Echo Park in 2019, 2021 and 2024. These five events were all successful, with average audience attendance being between 50 and 100.
