Join us for a family movie night featuring Disney’s 2018 film “A Wrinkle in Time”, based on the 1962 book by Madeleine L’Engle. Starring Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Levi Miller, Storm Reid, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Pena, Zach Galifianakis, and Chris Pine. 
The story follows a young girl, who with the help of three astral travelers, goes on a quest to find her missing father. The time travel in the book and movie is produced by an object called a ‘tesseract’. The tesseract is a fifth dimensional phenomenon explained as being like folding fabric of space and time, or ‘wrinkling’ time. Similar to the reoccurring mathematical patterns in our Shape of Nature show, a tesseract is a real mathematical concept and shape, a cube within a cube, connected by spokes. 
                 
We will have a concession stand where you can get popcorn, candy, snacks, and drinks at a small fee.
