• This SR type should be used to request FREE smoke detector installation in a residential space.

More Information:

• You can request up to six (6) smoke detectors per household.
• Deaf or hard of hearing? We have the ability to make available bed shaker for those who qualify. These requests will take longer to fulfill, once approved.
• The requestor must own the property for which they are requesting smoke detectors.

Process:

• The Cincinnati Fire Department will contact the requester to coordinate the installation of the free smoke detector(s).
