Speed Radar Signs Posted in Northside

CINCINNATI – As part of the City of Cincinnati’s Vision Zero efforts, radar signs collecting speed data have been temporarily posted on Pullan Avenue in Northside.

The signs will collect speed data for approximately one week. The City will compare that data with crash data and community feedback in order to develop a set of recommendations to improve pedestrian safety in this area and other areas across Cincinnati.

Community Councils can request temporary use of these radar signs in their neighborhood by contacting Mel McVay (melissa.mcvay@cincinnati-oh.gov) in the Department of Transportation and Engineering.

Vision Zero is a strategy to eliminate all traffic-related deaths and severe injuries, while increasing safe, healthy, equitable mobility for all. More information is available at www.cincinnati-oh.gov/visionzero.
