The 2nd annual “A Celebration of African American Small Business Achievement & Resource Exhibit” was held Wednesday at Mercy Health.  This event, sponsored by the City of Cincinnati’s Department of Economic Inclusion, Department of Community & Economic Development, the African-American Chamber of Greater Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky, Minority Business Assistance Centers (MBAC), and the U.S. Small Business Administration, gave African American businesses of all sizes a chance to network with one another while celebrating the achievements of businesses that have overcome adversity and other obstacles to success.

This year’s event focused on two major topics, minority women business owners and minority businesses that have been in business 25+ years. The keynote speaker was Kea Frazier, Chief Financial Officer of Frazier Homes, the first minority-owned business to be featured in Cincinnati’s Home-A-Rama.
