Assistant City Manager Shiela Hill-Christian joined the Department of Public Services (DPS) on Wednesday morning for a news conference to announce how the City is getting ready to treat snow and ice-covered streets this winter.

City Manager Harry Black is encouraging drivers to stay off the roads, if possible, throughout rush hour this evening. Additionally tomorrow morning, those that have the ability to work from home, or to delay their start time, are encouraged to do so in order to give crews extra time to improve the conditions of the roads before traffic becomes heavy.
- Additional Trash Carts Now Available
The City of Cincinnati is offering residents the opportunity to receive a second trash cart. Approximately 5,000 carts are available at no cost, on a first-come, first-served basis.
